Well is early November..
not lost a pound in so long I no longer remember..
might be a plateau.. I have tried a few things but still I stay the same..
thinking I am going to go back to calorie cycling.
I know its not due to me not working out enough..
I got a job on Wednesday's delivering the Airdrie Echo, takes me an hour of preparing the papers, and then 90 minutes to deliver them.
I take my Nike + shoes and Ipod and count that as my cardio for the day, burn easily 800 calories that way.
On other days I get 90 minutes in a day.
I do 30 minutes on my bike,
I take max for a 2 mile walk outside and that is currently taking us between 34 and 37 minutes.
and I do 8 minutes a day on the stepper, slowly working up to 30 minutes, last week it was 7 minutes, next week it will be 9 minutes, going to keep going till I make that magic 30.
I don't track the stepper every day, just when I reach 30 minutes total.
then I either do a DVD, or dance, or bike for the remainder of that time.
I am burning on average 4500 calories a week and working out for about 540 minutes a week in cardio.
Plus doing my strength. Not every time I am supposed to.. I should work on that..
It is disappointed that I am not losing weight as much as I feel I should be.. but what can I do about it, working hard on cardio, watching my calories, and still it stays.
Maybe with calorie cycling, I will see my weight change.

Well I am still plugging along, have had a great few months, I have gotten a stationary bike, its not in the best shape, and makes alot of racket when I am using it, but am now up to 30 minutes on it, as well as walking at least an hour a day, I am losing around 3 lbs a month, slow and very steady..
I bought a stair stepper today, boy does that work the leg and butt muscles.. I know it will not spot reduce, no such thing, but even if it helps me lose weight and build muscle in that area I am game..
going to have work up to doing it more, did 100 steps and my legs felt like they were on fire...
I am hoping to make my goal of 20 (and maybe more... crossing fingers) pounds for 2008.
There is hope that we will be going to Manitoba for Christmas with my sister, her husband, and new son. Might have to get a job to help finance it.
That's it for now. Time for beddy bye.. might do 100 more steps before I head that way though..

been a while
I forgot the link first off and then a new computer and then a second new computer.
best news is this new laptop has a graphic card and enough memory to run all expansion packs for sims 2...
back to my weight
well I have not lost any this year so far.. have stayed under 200 which I am so glad for, but not lost any...
I am not doing strength, not much walking and well no curves either..
why I am not sure, but getting back at it, my goal for 2008 has changed I wanted 60 lbs gone, but unfortunately everyone is right, as you lose it becomes harder to lose...
so I have changed my goal for 2008 to lose 20 - 30 lbs this year and have 6 months to do it in..
here's hoping...
going to get back at my walking, I miss it and get back to the weights...

I think I might be pushing myself to hard lately, my energy level is in the basement... I am always tired... not sure why.
I didn't do anything workout wise yesterday and I do know I have to get back on the treadmill so to speak. I am now staying below 200 most days, I did actually see a 194 one day... cool!! but stupid period has showed up... and I always gain with that, but have stayed below 200, so happy about that. I joined curves and am trying to get there 4 times a week, missed yesterday so have to go today. I am also doing steps here at home, put on my idod and just do some steps I have seen on video's and classes, works for me. I work up quite a sweat, which is the whole point. I am going to do my usual workout today, maybe do 4 miles and see if my energy level comes back up and if it doesn't then I will see about taking a nap or something... didn't help last night I had trouble getting to sleep. First time in a long time that, that has happened.

kids back in school
So glad to see them gone, I do love them and every minute they are home is nice, but I love my time too, and my computer and my quiet, so glad my life returns to normal.
I bought a treadmill Friday last week and hubby set it up for me late Friday night and I have used it daily, going shortly to do an hour. I love it and no more cold walks, don't get me wrong, I did state 2 posts back I loved walking outside and I still do, thinking now since I don't have to take such long walks I can restart taking max out for his walks daily (on nice days) and for short ones... gets us out of the house, gets his exercise in as well, can't have a fat dog, now if only I could figure out some way of getting spook hooked up to a harness and get him walking... silly fat cat.
I seem to have an issue getting below and staying below 200, I am back up above again... I seem to keep losing and gaining the same three pounds... beginning to get discouraging... and my mood today is not helping... Thinking it is pre-period gain, and it's early oh friggin joy!!!
I will stick with it, I can and will get below 200 just have to keep plugging along, it will work, it will work, it will work... that's my new mantra... LOL

Happy 2008
We went out last hight for supper and dance with a couple of friends of ours. And there was a third couple there, nice to meet new people. They had been friends to my brother Larry and Marian, but since Marian is no longer in the picture, that relationship has severed as well.
It was a nice night, good food, and good music. Danced alot, glad I am in shape, cause I sure enjoyed the dancing, I know a year ago I couldn't have done any dancing, and with no tummy it was nice to dance close to hubby.
I stayed close to my high end of calories, so I am happy. I did have desert, cheesecake, it was worth the cheat.
I will go for a walk outside today to work it off.
My goal of walking 8500 steps a day for december didn't happen. I was short 8,000 steps over all... I will try not to beat myself up for it. Life happens.
I did weigh in today at just under 200, so I am on track. I will attempt to get 8500 steps a day this month, will have to do more then that most days as I want to start taking 2 days a week off, and spread it out more over the month, realizing I have slacked off most of the month and then spend the last week walking upwards of 16,000 steps a day is very tiring and becomes a burden in the end, and then the disappointment of not making my goal gets added to it.
